Pakistan-China new nuclear deal will increase arms race, India's concerns will increase!

This agreement can create concerns and challenges for India. Fabian Bassart in his article in The Times of Israel has said that this is a dangerous agreement.
Agreement for nuclear energy cooperation between the two countries
On September 8 this year, Pakistan's Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and China's Zhongyan Engineering Cooperation signed an agreement for nuclear energy cooperation. The framework for this agreement was drawn up at a high-level meeting held on 20 August. This agreement will be valid for ten years. Under this agreement, the transfer of nuclear technology, mining and enrichment of uranium, supply of nuclear fuel and establishment of research reactors will be done.
China trying to prepare a stockpile of weapons in Pakistan
Bassart, in his article, has considered this agreement as a strategy for China to build up a arsenal of weapons in Pakistan. This can be a matter of concern for India. The agreement includes conditions for Pakistan's comprehensive cooperation on the construction and maintenance of all nuclear power plants in the future.
At present, four new plants are ready in Pakistan. Two of these are built in Karachi and two in Muzaffargarh. All these are made with the technology of China. Under this agreement, now China will help in all ways in the field of nuclear energy. Nuclear cooperation between China and Pakistan has been going on since 1986. This agreement, signed in September 2021, expands it further.
